Pains me to write bad reviews for small businesses, but I have to warn people not to take expensive pieces here. Two of my Theory dresses have loose threads in the sleeves, which I’ve owned for almost 3 years. I used to live in Brooklyn Heights and nothing ever happened to those dresses with my old dry cleaner (Coleman Cleaners), but they both came back damaged after dry cleaning here. I brought my dresses back to the store and showed them the damage, and they offered to fix it at a cost. I asked if they could fix it for free and they said no. I can sew so I fixed it myself. One of the owners is very nice, however, I would recommend taking expensive clothes elsewhere.

This is the worst dry cleaning ever. They cleaned my down jacket and I paid 100 dollars for getting it back even dirtier… they ruined my 925 dollar white shirt - I received it with black stains on the bottom… I am frustrated .. worst experience ever

I had an excellent experience with alterations at City View Valet Cleaners. Mrs. Im, the tailor, demonstrates exceptional professionalism and reliability in her work. I always recommend her whenever neighbors ask.

Terrible service I stopped using them because they ruined my suit pants by making a hole in it, then they try to blame me saying I dropped off the pants with a hole in it. Why would I get pants with a hole in a dry clean they don’t Take responsibility for their mistakes and they kept saying it was my fault. Do not use this place. If they ruin your clothing, they will not compensate you.

I tried this cleaner out while looking for a convenient dry cleaner near my apartment, and I asked for my Giorgio Armani suit to be dry cleaned, and within 2 days I was delivered my suit back to my apartment in a almost-new perfect condition. I am very happy with this timely business and will continue to use it.Services: Delivery

Two weeks ago they ruined my coat and didn't offer any compensation/remedy as of today. I am still trying to chase the owner on getting a resolution, but no progress so far. It was the worse experience I've ever had in a place like this! You can't take clothes you care about to this cleaner. And they won't do the right thing if (when) they make a mistake. You simply can't trust them with anything of value. Guaranteed there's another cleaner within a block or two, save yourself, save your clothes, save money and go anywhere else but here.Services: Organic dry cleaning

I am devastated at the experience of this horrific dry cleaners. I have used them maybe three times and will never use them again; I am also figuring out if I have a lawsuit. On Wednesday, October 5th, I dropped off my laundry bag for service, which should have only taken a few days. I called on Friday, October 7th, to confirm that I had one garment, which is a vintage purple long kimono could be dry cleaned (even though the instructions on the garments website said dry cleaning only). I wanted to make sure. The person who answered the phone said they would call me if they had any issues. I had not heard from the dry cleaners in a week and decided to reach out to them on Thursday, October 13th, since it had been a week. Someone responded to me with a text message about the buttons on one of my dresses. I could barely understand the explanation as to why it took so long as the person could not speak English well. I decided to go to the dry cleaners to pick up my garments. To my horror, my long, vintage purple Kimono was ruined. They removed one of the sleeves for no reason; they have no explanation, and the flower patterns are destroyed. They were white and now are faded red and streaks down the back of the Kimono. This garment is vintage from the 1920s and valued at over $400.00. When I tried to explain to the man working that they ruined my Kimono, he looked at me as if it wasn't a big deal. He asked for me to send him photos of what the Kimono looked like this was on Saturday, October 15th. I had to follow up with them on Monday, October 17th, to find an update, and again the person who responded to the text messages started to ignore me. I had other pieces there which I had to ask to be delivered, and to my horror, they charged me for the Kimono that I did not have yet and ruined. There was no apology, no urgency to correct their mistake. I am searching now for legal action as this is unacceptable.

I don't go here anymore. The dry cleaning prices are inconsistent here but I used to go to them anyways because they are close to where I live. However I stopped using them after they ruined one of my favorite silk blouses. The owner condescendingly lectured me that the blouse was already ruined (why did you take it then?) and from being in the business for 20+ years he knows a lot more about dry cleaning than some girl complaining.
