“Had a very good visit with Dr bardari. My dog had some very vague symptoms and the dr came to a very likely diagnosis of low grade pancreatitis. She made him more comfortable with fluids and an anti nausea meds and he is back to himself.“

After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.

It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.

“We had an emergency with our cat and had to rush her in right at closing. Everyone was amazing and stayed as long as needed. Even though we don’t use them as our vet, they were attentive, professional and patient! We are truly grateful for them!!“

“We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!“

She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!“

I have a very aggressive and large dog and they so kindly squeezed me in when he started limping. They were extremely patient with both me and my dog Sam. Dr. Kremmerman, Malik, Diana and the front desk staff (I’m so sorry I forgot your names!!!) were absolutely wonderful and made this process so much less stressful. “Dobbs Ferry Animal Hospital is terrific. We've been taking our pets there for 20 years. Don't be deterred by the office's modest appearance. It's a serious, extremely competent place. Everyone is devoted to their work and very knowledgeable. Ignore people who say they found staff rude. They're not. Dr. Mendelsohn is a straightforward, no-nonsense doc. Same with the vet tech. Parking lot is limited but you can park on a side street.“
