By the time we got around to addressing the exterior, we were totally burned out from decision making, but knew the house needed a major face lift. Enter Debra. I admit I had some sticker shock at first, but her expertise was worth every penny. She was patient throughout the process and deeply knowledgeable about the subtleties of various color palettes. She selected about 6 options for each of the 3 materials - stucco, cedar shake, and wood trim - and visited several times to observe them with me. When it came to making a decision, I felt completely confident. Our old, quirky home is truly beautiful now. Thank you for giving it the glow up it deserved!!“

“A heavy glass container slipped out of my hand and chipped the edge of my quartz countertop. I called Precision Stone where I bought the countertop about 4 years ago. Mark asked me to send him a photo of the damage along with my contact information. I couldn’t have been happier when 2 workmen from Precision showed up at my house the next day. They were wonderful. The repair was done so well that I can’t even find the place where the damage was done. I highly recommend Precision for their selection of countertops, installation, customer service and repairs.“

“I worked with Affordable Interior Design to decorate my living room, dining room, master bedroom, home office and patio. I would HIGHLY recommend them! Anita Magyar (their Westchester designer) is an incredible designer. She is very thorough, responsive, decisive - really worked with me to understand my design sense (even when I wasn't quite sure how to describe it). I loved everything she came back with! She was also flexible to make some tweaks when I wanted to look at another option for my decor. My home turned out beautifully and Anita saved me a ton of time in the process! She helped me pick out unique options which I would not have been able to come up with on my own and I am so happy with the results! She also really worked with my budget and picked out a mix of reasonable vs. high end options. I plan on working with her again for some home accessories in the near future and other areas in my home. Love, love, love Anita and would highly recommend working with her...P.S. “We recently used Teoria to renovate our floor-through brownstone apartment in Park Slope. Bahar and the whole team were fantastic. They did a ton of custom work like bespoke kitchen cabinets and a unique loft staircase with hidden closets inside, and everything came in impeccable and on-budget. They even stretched and threw in an extra or two, and worked very well with two artisan friends that we had handle a few distinct projects (even fixing one friend's bad mistake on a wooden countertop). They also came through on the few occasions that things didn't go quite as planned. Bahar went to bat for us with a company that messed up our quartz countertops and convinced them to completely redo the work, and once when there was an unexpected COVID-related delay, they put us up in a nearby Air BnB for a couple nights so we wouldn't be out of pocket. And last but not least, Bahar put up with my many many texts without complaint, and was always responsive and accommodating. Cannot recommend highly enough.“

While not inexpensive, it has been an infinitely better experience than with other providers.p.s. We used Artistic 20 years ago for a kitchen remodel and had an equally good experience with this location.“

Their staff are skilled residential renovation specialists who can help you plan major renovations involving cabinetry, tike, lighting as well as appliances.
