Learning to play the piano was a lifelong dream of mine. I’ve been taking lessons from Janet now for five years. As an “adult” student starting from scratch, I was concerned that I would never really be able to understand music or become truly competent. When I look back to where I started from and how far I’ve come, I’m amazed. Janet is truly a genius at teaching. She makes difficult concepts easy to understand. From previous visits at the School I felt very welcoming, and was impressed by relaxing musical area where the classes are given which is almost like a salon. The wide variety of songs played was enjoyable, inviting you to come back for more.
