“This place is so underrated and very reasonably priced! My husband and I were eloping in the ADKs but got covid right before. The Beauty Loj was so nice about rescheduling my bridal hair appointment. Not only do they have excellent customer service, but they did an INCREDIBLE job with my hair! I have super frizzy hair and would be hiking up a mountain for our wedding location on an 80 degree day. To my surprise, I didn't have a single sighting of frizz on top of the mountain! I was pretty stressed about my hair being the style I wanted for my wedding day, but after I had my trial with Amber, I was confident everything would turn out great! I was aiming for a loose/boho updo and she nailed it! I had bought Halo Couture extensions primarily to add volume on my wedding day, and Amber had worked with them before and was very accommodating. On my wedding day, my hair turned out perfect, and continued to hold and look beautiful throughout the entire day!“

“Such a great store and wonderful cafe menu for anyone, but especially for those needing either vegan or gluten free options which we need. It isn't easy to find that in the Lake Placid area and we ate here twice over the weekend. Super friendly too!“
“Beautiful place to relax and unwind. The amenities are quant but feel luxurious. It was a bit louder and more populated than I would have liked, but the staff was exquisite. I ordered a delicious lunch in from the cottage on the property, and it was conveniently brought right to me. My massage was wonderful and priced perfectly. I wish they had a sauna available as well as the steam room and hot tub, but overall, it made for a nice afternoon.“
