“This place is a gem. I was considering eyelash extensions for my wedding and I fell in love - with both my eyelashes and the staff here! I had a video consultation with Jeannie who was lovely as she talked me through my options. Then, for my \\\"trial\\\" I had Leo who did an amazing job. I couldn't believe how much these lashes brightened my face, but weren't overdone. I saw her again for the wedding and, again, in love. Leo is easy to talk to and she knows what she's doing. Lastly, when I woke up the day before my wedding with a couple of stray lashes, the front desk got me in quickly to fix. I worked with Jessica who sat with me until I was 100% satisfied that the lashes looked how I wanted. What an amazing and professional team, you will not regret coming here.“

“My wife and I just got married on 10/14/23! We used Doreen and The Look Spa to help us with hair and makeup for our big day. They were amazing! Doreen and her crew accommodated 2 brides and 10 bridesmaids, came to our hotel bridal suites at 5:30 am to get us all ready, and made everyone look so gorgeous! Everyone looked natural and their beauty was only enhanced by the team's makeup and hair. We were so happy with their timeliness, professionalism, pricing, skills and creativity! They were all such a joy to work with! I brought my own extensions but Doreen and crew brought the rest (except for coffee and mimosas) :) The trial I did with Doreen two months earlier was very helpful for planning and visualizing. I would recommend doing that for both hair and makeup. I really hope I can get my hair and makeup done again by Doreen because she made me feel and look so beautiful and I never worried. I am thinking about traveling all the way out to Long Island from Manhattan for the next big event I have, just so that I can have Doreen do my hair and makeup! She was fantastic!“

“This salon - and especially Jet S at the Huntington location - are absolutely fantastic - the BEST! I had to find a new salon and stylist because my previous person left the field temporarily. And so I saw some photos of Jet's work on social media, so I decided to give her and Anthony DeFranco Salon a try, and.... as long as I live nearby, I'll now never go anywhere else!Jet is a true artist and the best stylist I've ever had, anywhere, anytime, ever. Each time I go in for a haircut, I want something different to change it up a bit. Jet not only creates the style I want, but she markedly improves it so that it fits my face and "me" even better. I'm blown away (pun!) by her artistry. She is a true professional. “The service is amazing. I've been going for over a year now. Sahliyah is awesome, amazing, and very sweet. This is a boutique, so during your time, you are the only one there. That is one of the things I love about it. The salon is very small, but it's just you, so it feels fine. She welcomed me from the first day and has continued her kind and welcoming spirit. The picture on here is accurate. The salon is located inside a locked building with a ton of other salons and tiny stores. They have to let you in as it is by appointment and then you go to wherever you are supposed to be. The prices are very high and have gone up again, since I started going. I'm sure that in this private locked building, the rent is very high...“
“I’’ve recently experienced a sudden hair loss after surgery. Barbara was a terrific resource in helping me choose wigs that made me feel comfortable and like I didn’t look “wiggy.” She provides customers with a lot of personal attention. Before we met, Barbara requested photos of me with hairstyles I liked and a recent selfie. When I arrived, she already had some suggestions based on the photographs. I felt like she was committed to making sure I left with a look that suited me and made me feel attractive, not just making a sale. The wigs she stocks are of excellent quality and fairly priced. (This is important because lesser quality wigs don’t last and can become fuzzy looking.) She can also order wigs not in stock. Buying a wig can be daunting because there’s a learning curve. You need to learn how to put it on carefully to make sure your wig is straight, how to wash and dry it, what products to use, whether it can be blown dry and different ways of styling it.Barbara made sure she went through all these points with me before I left and provided some hair accessories with my purchase. I bought two beautiful wigs and they are both very flattering. Although I wasn’t buying wigs because of hair loss due to chemo this time, I had breast cancer several years ago and wish I had known Barbara then. She is also a BC survivor and sensitive to the needs of women undergoing cancer treatment. No matter why you need a wig, you will leave here feeling understood and attractive. Thus, I recommend Barbara’s Hair Studio with great enthusiasm.“
