About Cayuga Family Dental LLC

Based on the provided reviews, Cayuga Family Dental LLC offers a mix of positive and negative experiences. The office is described as very clean, professional, and welcoming, with a friendly front desk staff and no wait time. The dental hygienists and assistants are consistently noted as kind, gentle, patient, and attentive. The dentist is described as gentle, compassionate, and skilled, taking time to explain everything clearly. However, the office does not offer sedation or perform extractions, which was a disappointment for one reviewer who needed that service. They do offer referrals for extractions. Another reviewer noted that cleanings felt fast and not completely thorough, and that the dentist was not seen at the end of every appointment. The front lobby was mentioned as needing an update, and the doors are clear plastic rather than a door. The office does not provide a new toothbrush at cleanings. Some reviewers mentioned that the office pushes their own paid products instead of prescribing fluoride paste. The office accepts essential plan insurance but not medicaid. Despite the cons, several reviewers highly recommend the office, noting the gentle treatment and modern tools.

Dental hygienist does a great job. Didn’t love how little communication there was about the cavity fillings- everything seems rushed. When I went in for my filling appointment I had to ask how many-they told me 3 fillings but then only did 2 and had me schedule another appointment in a few weeks for the last one. I, like many others, have to take time off of work to go so it was super inconvenient. Most disappointing though was the filling that I did get on 1 (technically 2) front teeth horrible and over all sloppy. Later that evening the part of the filling that was smeared across my tooth (not where the cavity was) started lifting and in 3 days after getting the filling,...read full review

Not only they don’t do sedation but they don’t even do extractions which was a terrible disappointment. Other then that they were very nice and gentle with X-rays and cleaning and advice. There was no wait time and they did offer to refer me for extractions. However to me it is not a dental office without that service which I will need a lot of in the near future beeing an older adult. I do plan to visit again for cleanings. They accept essential plan insurance but not medicaid.

From start to finish, my experience at this dental office was nothing short of exceptional. The moment I stepped in, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff, who were not only friendly but also incredibly efficient and helpful with all my paperwork and questions. The waiting area was clean and welcoming—instantly putting me at ease.

Every single staff member I encountered was phenomenal. The dental assistants were kind, patient, and attentive, always checking to make sure I was comfortable and informed. It’s clear that this team truly works together with kindness and professionalism at the heart of everything they do.

    And the dentist—what a gem!...read full review
