“After so many no’s from other aide agencies the moment I mentioned my mom with younger on-set Alzheimer’s (diagnosed age 59, currently 65), had aggression I was met with “we cannot find anyone for you”. After a failed stay at an memory care facility followed by a horrible hospital stay.. I was desperate for just companion care for my then wheelchair bound mom. Dementia Care Aides, Inc. saved me then & has continued to save me and actually provide the care and relief in the help I need of caring for my mom. I have no worry in leaving my mom with the aide and even on a last minute when when a respite stay fell through for a family wedding Ms. Margaret reassured me they would have me covered. “Our 91 year old mother had stroke and was being released form rehabilitation .She has always lived alone and we wanted to let her return home instead of having to place her in a nursing home.On the day she was being released the agency that we had in place for 24hr live in care called and informed us that both of there aides were no longer available.<br>In a panic I started calling agencies and was so very lucky when I connected with Melissa from Dignity Home Care. She had a full time aide in place within 24hrs ! From simple questions to billing matters she was knowledgeable, professional and very sweet. When I had a question she always responded immediately ,we never had any problems with paperwork or billing matters. The Aide the agency sent us, Latifa ,was an angel. Although our mom passed in only 3 months time Latifa made made that time bearable. Mom always clean and very well taken care of and the house was always spotless.
