A few years ago my Daughter, at the time 7 years old was a yellow belt, my Mother and I took her and my niece to the game farm. They were releasing a batch of goats into the pen to be fed from the bottles they sell. Now you have to picture this, 30 baby goats running towards 20 or so children who are also running towards the goats. (Injuries waiting to happen) Mother's are screaming at their children to show down, and being totally ignored. I yelled Front Position (which is a command that a Sensei or Instructor will say and the meaning is... STOP whatever it is that you are doing and face forward) Well my daughter stopped so fast that there was actually a cloud of dirt at her heals. In astonishment the mother next to me said "what the heck was that" to which my response was "Cutting Edge Kempo Karate" and worth every penny (with the biggest smile on my face) Sensei Nick taught my daughter a lot, not only about karate, defense but most of all respect.

Great dojo with an amazing staff. They make the classes fun for the kids while keeping them in shape, teaching self defense and most importantly teaching them how to use their minds. I cannot say enough good things about Cutting Edge. Nick and his crew are fantastic.

In my parenthood journey, It could have been a blessing incase I could take my son to you for discipline and self defense. I don’t have your replacement.

My son started at Cutting Edge Kempo when he was 4 years old. Best decision I have ever made. Sensei Nick and his team are top notch. They taught my son more then just karate. They help instill the fundamentals of just being a good human being. Try them out and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!

After visiting and trying several schools for my son I wondered if I would find the right fit for my son. Then I came across Cutting Edge Kempo. After the very first call with with Shihan Nick I knew my son would fit right in. Right from the start when my son walked in Shihan Nick I knew we were going to be happy. By the end of the first class it was a no brainer, Cutting Edge Kempo would be his new home where he would not only learn Karate but also important life skills. My son was extremely happy after his first class and couldn’t wait to go back today for his second class. Shihan Nick and his assistance are absolutely amazing with the kids, they keep it fun but serious during the class. Couldn’t be happier with my decision. Can’t wait to see how my son will grow with the Cutting Edge family

So grateful my daughters are part of the Cutting Edge Kempo Family !! It is a great combination of discipline, strength, and self defense training! The confidence in both of them has grown since becoming students and I am so thankful. Shihan Nick and his staff are instilling life long knowledge in our girls!

Shi Han Nick is a great teacher and the way he handles kids is even better. I couldn't imagine anyone else teaching my son the martial arts.If your child or yourself are looking to get into the martial arts Cutting Edge is a fantastic school

My son is autistic and has been attending Cutting Edge Kempo Karate for several years now. He is currently a half blue belt. Sensi Nick and all the other staff have been wonderful with him and it has help his self esteem as well.

They welcomed my son, and he flourishes there! They take the time to explain the moves in a way that's easy to learn. They also teach real life lessons of responsibility, courage, integrity, and the human bond. Plus excellent karate! Highly recommend!
