After my mother was placed in a nursing home, I contacted Kathy Mackey to sell her house. She kept me informed every time she showed the house. The most impressive aspect of her abilities was that during January and February, a slack time for sales, she was still showing a steady stream of possible buyers the home, some more than once.I cannot conceive of any other realtor doing a better job.

Kathy Mackey was our realtor when it came time to sell my mother's home. Not only was it the home where I was raised, but Mom and her brothers and sisters grew up in this house built by her Dad. To say it was an emotional time for me would be understatement. Kathy never became impatient with how difficult the process was for me, but kept everything moving forward with kindness and professionalism. She and those she works with at Summerset Realty in Highland have our highest praise.

We had the fortune of working with Kathy who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful buying our first home. Kathy was easy to get ahold of and extremely patient (our home was a "builder owned" lot) with our closing taking over a year from signing the contract. We would not only recommend but also work with Kathy and Summerset Realty again, and intend to do so if we decide to sell our house.
