Alex and his team at The Paving Company did an incredible job on my driveway.
I wanted a gravel road, not pavement, and Alex treated the project with the same attention and care as if it were being fully paved. The gravel was compacted down with the roller they use for paving at each layer, so the driveway is strong, stable, and built to last.
They also created excellent drainage solutions — thoughtful ditches, well-placed water bars, and a smart slope angled upward into the mountain. This means water will flow off naturally, protecting the road even during heavy rains or snowmelt. The layout makes plowing much easier too.
Alex was professional, reliable, and clearly cares about doing things the right way (btw, his team is his son, brother and nephew - a heart-centered business). I am thrilled with the results and grateful for the extra care he put into the details. Highly recommend The Paving Company if you want a driveway that is both beautiful and built to last!
