I was in a bind after a contractor no show I waited for for 6 weeks, reconfirming along the way. I bought an older house and got some use, but finally needed to replace my back stairs and covering before winter. I called 518 Renovations in a bind, in 2 weeks, and a REASONABLE price, I now have new back stairs and covering! I will have more projects along the way and will be, again and always, be hiring 518 Renovations. While I can do some work myself, I'm smart enough to not turn a $1000 job into a $10,000 bail out.
I've been wanting my kids footprints for years but had bad experiences in the past. I saw Jays work and fell in love. He worked with what I wanted and placement. Jay heard everything I wanted and gave his opinions in a professional and respectful manor. He was patient and very kind every step of the way. Been going to chiropractors for 39 years off and on. I can honestly say Dr. Groff has been the second Dr. who has been able to give me relief for my sciatica. Her spinal adjustment technique is very gentle, but very powerful and deep. I am pleased with the level of service she and her staff give to their patients. Tom has been cutting my hair here since 1962, its a lot whiter now but he always does a good so I keep coming back but perhaps its the nostalgic location where there used to be a pond that I ice skated on in the winter and woods that grandfather Joe owned before the Arterial was even there growing up only a hundred yards away.

They do excellent work, I had the wax and oil NHOU done on my new truck. It is an investment worth doing if you expect to own the vehicle after the payments are done. There are places that may do it a little cheaper, but it won't be done as well. He bags the vehicle to keep any over spray of the paint, tapes the exhaust system and heat shields, and removes the wheels.Very professional job. Keeps in communication with you while your vehicle is being coated, letting you know where he is at with the two applications of product.

Pat Buhrmaster has been out electrician for years and has done multiple projects for us, from panel instillation, ceiling lights, bathroom and dining room lights. He is well versed in wiring for not only the house needs, but also got our swimming pool up to code. He is reasonably priced and efficient. Highly recommend.

Patrick was fixing my kitchen sink for me (great repair btw!) & I mentioned heat was out & that A. Johns*n Co said I needed a new system at $10K. Patrick said he’d take a look-less than an hour later the heat was on, I was warm & beyond thrilled! The only thing wrong was a $25 part needed replacing. Patrick saved me from a costly & unnecessary repair! A long time member of the community and the best beautician in the county have been a customer, both me and my mother for well over 20 years, always friendly and trustworthy person. Never had any problem with his work once even when my father was sick and couldn't get out.
I would 100 % recommend!! She is amazing-she not only made me feel comfortable and relaxed but payed extremely close attention to detail. My dress was so big prior to my alterations that you could fit a golf ball down the back. She also altered my neckline to make it more of a V cut that I wanted. You won’t find this kind of service anywhere else….she also gives out lolly pops :)

The crew from Correll Roofing just finished a fairly large roofing job. They did a terrific job. The crew was great in every respect; the work was done thoroughly professionally and they left the site cleaner than when they got here. I could not have asked for more.
They were as my wife said “so kind, and professional.” As new customers we recieved the tanks today while I was at work. They did a great job putting the tanks in, as well as giving the Mrs. a quick class on how to turn the tanks on an off as well as checking how full a tank is. Nothing beats that small business mentality of “you’re not just a number you’re now a neighbor”.

I hired M. Mazza Paving to put in a new drive. He and his crew were punctual, professional and completed the job in a timely manner. Mike provided in detail the best route in providing proper run off and with all of the rain we've had l couldn't be happier with the work that he did. I will hire M Mazza Paving to do more work as l believe he cares about his work and customers. He is a small business owner that takes pride in his project's start to finish.
After asking around I realized Albert was the one to call. I also went to high school with him so I already knew he was a great guy. His crew was very polite and professional they got the job done fast and it looks absolutely perfect, they even replaced all the drip edge for me and finished a piece of siding that I couldn’t do myself without me even asking. This past week I had Allen's Family Heating & Cooling replace my central air unit and out in a few furnace. We switched from oil to propane with the new (more) efficient systems they have now and let me tell you, the process was seamless!
From making the call, to quick response and having someone come check the issues... to then on the day of the install having the team of Tim, Jake and Jesse come and remove the old system and put in the new... just amazing. Even seeing them work in such an organized and clean fashion was cool to see. not only did they install the new system, but they disassembled, the old AC unit, moved the new unit to the other side of the house (by request) - removed the oil tank, installed all the new piping for the propane, were all kind, courteous, and super respectful in any way answering any and all of my questions

Recently moved to Gloversville and asked an acquaintance for a recommendation for a good barber and she said her brother had been going here for years and his haircuts were always great. So I walked in and took the next available barber (Tyler) He's excellent and am thrilled to have found my new barber in my new upstate community! Highly recommend. The other barber's cuts that I saw on their clients while I was waiting were all excellent too!
