My therapist here, whose name I forget, offered absolutely no advice to deal with my problems and just told me to “write in a diary” and “meditate”. No actual help. No advice. Just the same things, over and over.
The trans group is good though.

I heard good things about this place from a friend, and I trust her judgment.However, my own experience was lacking. I originally emailed to ask if they could tell me their prices for trauma therapy without insurance, and was told I would be put in touch with a therapist there who takes uninsured patients. I replied saying that that would be great, and I never heard back.It left a really sour taste in my mouth that a counseling service would ghost somebody who was obviously asking for help.

Emily Welsh was an amazing help to me! I was seeking help in my daily struggles. I couldn't have asked for a better support. I'm visiting her again soon, and I'm excited to put her advice into the works. Also the therapy dog there was super cute!
