The customer service was great! I paid 120$ for two children's hair cuts! When I spoke on the phone I made it clear that I did not want a blowout for my oldest to make sure they said they do not do that because I knew once we got there she would ask because she hates her curly hair! However, they did not follow through! Can that be my fault yes in which I will take the hit! However, when I left there my youngest did not get the cut I asked for and both of them had an uneven cut (one side being longer than the other) my youngest walked out having an Amish boys hair cut! I paid the money but I will never go there again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone! Will update with pictures if I can only downfall is I don't have any other pictures that really show how bad the cuts were! Pictures vs reality just doesn't do the cut any justice! I’ve been a client of Studio 8 since moving to the area last year. Both Brian and Nicole are amazing. Nicole always with perfect cuts - will not go anywhere else now that I’ve found her and I’m super picky with salons. I had the pleasure of getting a blowout by Lauren. My hair is long and extremely, naturally curly so blowouts are challenging to say the least and great blowouts for my hair length and texture are very hard to come by. Lauren just gave me one of the best blowouts I’ve ever had!!!! Moreover, the salon is beautiful and spotlessly clean and the staff are very welcoming, caring and professional. I forgot the name of the woman who shampooed my hair (Andrea maybe?) but I also wanted to give her a shoutout for providing such a great shampoo using relaxing scalp massage techniques. This is my new go-to blowout location!!!!Service: Hairstyling

After my first visit there, this the best my hair has ever looked. Brian is a magician at color. He knows his stuff. I absolutely love what he did to fix my color. He is truly amazing. Then after Nicole gave me the best blowout I went back to her for a cut. She did a phenomenal job. Both are true experts. I just moved to Glen cove from Manhattan and was a bit nervous about trying a new place. I went to studio 8 and let Brian do my color and was amazed at how very knowledgeable he was with colors and tones and what is best for your individual complexion. I had the pleasure of visiting Salon 8 for the first time yesterday for color with Brian followed by a haircut/style with Garrett. I do not normally post reviews, but felt that my amazing experience warranted me taking the time to do so.From the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcomed and valued as a client. Brian took the time to evaluate my current hair color and recommend how to proceed…the result is absolutely gorgeous and so natural! Brian is kind, caring, warm and extremely talented. It is obvious that he is both an artist and true master in his field! We are extremely lucky that Brian has decided to bring his knowledge and expertise back to his hometown area!After my color treatment I was introduced to Garrett for my haircut…Garrett is dynamic in both his personality and his ability to assess and recommend a cut that is stylish, flattering and appropriate for hair type. He is a skilled stylist who takes the time to explain and “check in” throughout the entire styling process. The result is just perfect, and his warm and personable vibe is an added bonus!The environment is chic, modern and cool, but warm and welcoming at the same time.
