Schweiger Dermatology & Allergy - Garden City

Extremely difficult to deal with in terms of staff and scheduling. I had to schedule a late afternoon appointment for my daughter for a specific treatment that could not be done during a school day in the morning which also required me leaving work early. Traffic delayed us about 15 minutes and they cancelled her appointment without any notification to us. When we arrived at the office we were told they cancelled the appointment and that there was as no other available time that evening even if we waited at the office. Very corporate and difficult to work with. Would not recommend.

Additionally when we had gone for early morning appointments the wait time was an additional 15-30 minutes beyond the scheduled appointment time and arriving early even when booking an 8:00 am appointment, and that isn’t including the wait time once you are brought to an exam room. They book appointments in 10 minute increments to maximize as many patients in a day as possible leading to a login. Perhaps if they went to 15 minute increments they’d be better with time management.

Very organized and professional doctors and staff.

The entire Moh’s process went very smoothly. Dr. Connolly is very caring and an expert in her field of Dermatology. Plus she has an excellent playlist playing throughout her office.

Awesome place! I have seen Pa Brittney Willis, NP Atiska Jhaveri and Lisa Sadler. All three are amazing and phenomenal! I love this practice. Front desk is kind and helpful. They didn’t tell me about an insurance problem until I was literally in a gown in a waiting room and the women at the front desk were too busy gossiping and arguing to check in the line of patients waiting. Will not be returning.

I would never recommend Schweiger Dermatology. I saw a PA in the Garden City office. She told me if the treatment didn’t work to come back and she would treat me for free. Not only was I charged for my second visit it didn’t work!. Subsequently I went to another practice and they treated it in one visit. The growth ha not come back!
I reached out to the billing department multiple times and got no where. Never got a response! I paid the bill today. It was never about the money it was about the fraud business practice of Schweiger as well the fact they couldn’t properly treat me!

I had a very disappointing experience at Schweiger Dermatology Group. My appointment was scheduled for 5:50 PM to see Yafit
Azizian and I arrived early, but still ended up waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time without being seen.

When I approached the front desk to check in, the staff was rude and impatient, which made the situation even more frustrating. This isn’t my first visit to this office, but the level of customer service has noticeably declined. Long wait times can happen, but professionalism and basic courtesy should always be a priority. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

I went to Alyssa Caracola, PA-C, and she was fantastic. She helped me with several skin issues and resolved them completely. Not only did she address what I originally came in for, but she also solved problems that other dermatologists I’ve seen in the past couldn’t. I truly feel like a new man!

Dr. Funt is amazing. Professional, extremely experienced and knowledgeable. She is compassionate and reassuring and helped diagnose and treat issue that had previously been mishandled. Immediately put me at ease and worked towards my health goals. I would highly recommend. She is outstanding.

I love the place and the staff are amazing. Thanks you. Dr Lauren Russo at Garden City . She’s one of the best doctors there. I appreciate her a lot.
