One of the top locations on longisland for eyewear is in Roosevelt field mall, excellent customer services. They have the solution for your vision needs.
I have been coming here for years, they do not disappoint.

I strongly advise avoiding this Cohen’s Fashion Optical location, especially if you are using Medicaid or are a first-time buyer.
I came in for my first-ever pair of prescription reading glasses. I am currently recovering from severe health challenges, unemployed, and relying on HealthFirst Medicaid. I really just needed my basic vision needs covered.
At first, the salesperson was very polite and seemed to be looking out for me. When the initial financing plan she presented would have actually doubled my overall cost, I caught it, and she worked with me to find an alternative plan that seemed like a more accurate price. I genuinely felt like she was on my side. However, as a first-time buyer who didn't know any better, I realize now I was not being led in the right direction. Instead of explaining that my basic needs could be covered by my insurance, I was coaxed into buying higher-end frames and had a $130 warranty plan tacked onto my total. I ended up locked into a third-party lease agreement (through Acima) for an outrageous $1,119 out-of-pocket. Employing these kinds of shameful sales tactics on vulnerable customers is unacceptable.
When I realized I had been severely overcharged and contacted them the very next day to cancel, they refused. They claimed the custom lenses had already been ordered and tried to hide behind a 'no refunds' policy. Their 'solution' was offering to let me select a frame of lesser value and cancel the warranty plan, completely ignoring my demand to void the transaction for merchandise I hadn't even received.
I ultimately had to file a formal grievance with HealthFirst for potential Medicaid balance-billing violations and escalate to the financing company's resolution department to halt the funding. Be very careful, know your insurance rights, and take your prescription elsewhere.

I had an okay experience at Cohn’s … While I was aware that my payment plan was through Acima, I was not clearly informed about the additional lease-to-own fees that come with it to acima. I believed I would be paying close to the original cost of my glasses, but instead, the total has increased significantly due to these extra charges.i was shocked at what type of plan they have when I had called them to know my remaining balance. Transparency is really important when it comes to financial agreements, and I feel like that was lacking here. I recommend that future customers ask detailed questions about all costs involved before agreeing to any payment plan. Clear communication from the start would make a big difference. Eye doctors were great though.

I’ve been coming to this optical shop for about 4 to 5 years. The service is always consistent, and the staff are friendly and very helpful, which makes me feel comfortable coming here. The only downside is that there aren’t many glasses covered by insurance. Other than that, I’m very satisfied.

Bought my new eyeglasses here. Was able to finance my new eyeglasses and they fit perfectly well. Had so many good compliments from friends and shoppers at work. Thank you Roosevelt Field team! They helped my dad get new prescribed glasses. Dr. Varghese was very helpful and great with dry eyes treatment. Highly recommend them for friends & family. ❤

I think this place give decent product for decent price if you know what you are looking for. I was bit scared when i saw bad reviews, but i was satisfied with the product they offered me and sense of fashion workers have. I had my prescription from my own eye doctor so the lense came out fine with good price. Im happy with the frame i bought. It was the one generation older model of tom ford. Very cheap price after 50percent discount but looks same as the most recent generation product.
