As a Black woman on Long Island, I've always struggled with finding a natural hair stylist that's close to home. One day, I happened to find Ashely's website in the Black Long Island Facebook group. There were a few people to choose from, but something about Ashley's site let me know that she was dependable and was going to take care of my hair to the best of her ability.

I had my required consultation visit with her about a month ago. Initially, I was thrown back that the consultation was required, BUT I so appreciated it afterwards. No other beautician that I've been to made it requirement to get to know me, my hair needs, etc. But Ash! She took the time, and we got to see if we even meshed well. I felt like I met a sister who was ready to school me about my hair needs! Anything I had a question about, she was ready and willing to answer. I really appreciate that!

SOOOOOO much so that I brought my 2-year-old daughter in to get her hair done the very next week! lol Let me just say--she hooked my baby girl UP! This was the first time that she had been to a hair salon, and she was given the all star treatment! Baby girl is definitely looking forward to her next hair appointment. “I was unhappy with my local nail place, so I decided to try V Spa, which is a short walk from my office. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. The tech (I think her name was Na Na) did a GREAT job on my powder gel mani and was so sweet. Strangely, about 2 hours after I got home, the powder chipped when I was opening a container. I went back the next day on my lunch break to have it fixed, and it was corrected quickly (by Gigi) and no questions asked. The staff remembered by name from the day before. I've never had this level of service at a nail salon before. I will come back again and again. Thank you!“
