This review is for Amy the hairdresser from In Style lounge located at Flushing NY Queens. She gave the best hair cut I ever had. Amy has strong skills in hair cutting style. In addition when I was having my haircut I noticed that every customer that had their hair done by her leave the salon happy and satisfied. When I had my hair straightened by Amy I looked fantastic. First time going and Amy was great! She gives off mom energy and for my fellow Asians, you'll know what I mean when you get there. She's very fast but VERY detailed, which I love. - time: 24 minutes - total for wash, cut and blow out =$30 (before tip) - CASH ONLY - place was hard to find but there are in the basement of the building. A little sketchy but don't let that scary/fool you! Def a hidden gem. It was a little busy on a Friday afternoon. 10/10 would come back Why I didn't give a 5 star: the lady that washed my hair was a bit too fast and didn't scratch my scalp hard enough

I use to work in the city paying hundreds for hair services near work. Got recommendation this pace now that I'm working from home in Queens. No frills place with quality hair cut and perms for the fraction of what I used to pay. Seems to be mostly regulars and ppl find this place through word of mouth. They do the basics well. If you're looking for something pretty basic and quick, this is your place.
