Healing Spa Woori NY is a women’s sauna in flushing offering scrub, full body massage, and a rejuvenating experience. The place smells wonderful, is clean, and surrounded by warm staff. The sauna is hot and refreshing. The body scrub is really thorough and priced reasonably. The ajhummas spa ladies are very professional and strong, providing almost 2 hours for massage and body scrub, which includes a face mask, scalp shampooing, conditioning, and massage. It is a super intimate and quaint place, more home than spa-like, with a Korean auntie living room vibe. The facility is impeccably clean, with a cold plunge pool and wet and dry saunas. However, it is smaller than a king spa, with only 2 sauna rooms, and can be awkward or uncomfortable for new visitors due to its intimate size. The older ladies are friendly and efficient, but one has consistently tried to convince customers that the minimum tip for a scrub is $30.
I can’t wait to go back to Woori for scrub and massage. The place smelled wonderful. It’s clean, surrounded by warm staff. I love the Korean auntie living room vibe. My skin hasn’t been this smooth for years! It’s an awesome place to get rejuvenated.
It was super awk at first but i really liked my visit! if you're expecting a king spa kind of experience this place may not be it for you as they are much smaller and have only 2 sauna rooms available but body scrub was really thorough and was priced reasonably.
Friendly and efficient. But unless you're a regular, it can be a little awkward and uncomfortable since this place is pretty intimate, small, and more home than spa-like. You'll have small groups of women talking out loud while you're trying to relax, depending on when you go. Not the Americanized spa-vibe for sure. As a major introvert, hiding out here is a thing for me. But I stopped going because the older lady has consistently tried to convince me that minimum tip for a scrub is $30. That's really not for her to decide.
