My initial interaction at Chun Fook was with a salesman nicknamed “J” who was pushy and rude. When I asked a few too many questions to gain clarity as I don't understand all the ins and outs of planning a funeral, he said “I don’t care if you purchase it [the bells & whistles he was trying to sell me], someone else will die & their family will.” It was so disrespectful and in a time of grieving, he lacked the two things most families need- empathy and compassion.

Losing our mother was one of the most difficult moments in our lives, and we are incredibly grateful to have had Jacky from Chun Fook Funeral Services guiding us through the process with empathy, professionalism, and care.
Jacky was never pushy or salesy — instead, he provided clear, detailed explanations at every step, which was especially helpful as it was our first time handling funeral arrangements. He was extremely respectful and patient, taking the time to understand our family’s wishes, as well as the cultural traditions and expectations from relatives, and balancing them thoughtfully with what our mother would have wanted.
Jacky and his team made arranging the last rites for my father easy and seamless. They were sensitive to the different cultural and religious needs of our family and did a great job walking us through the process. Their professionalism was top notch and my family is greatful to the Chun Fook team for taking care of us during a difficult time.
