I recently surprised my wife by setting up an appointment to get her hair cut, and colored at DAC Beauty Salon, my wife has been coming to this salon for over 20 years and even tho we life in New Jersey its always worth the trip . Both my wife and i couldn’t be happier with results. She couldn’t stop talking about how well she was treated, and the attention to detail for all her requests. The best of the best. My son has been going to Faded Out Cutz, Barber (Mark), since he was 2 years old. He is hella talented with the cuts and very precise - I've never experienced a crooked shape up or bad cut over the 4 years I've been coming here. To top it off, He's super patient with kids, kind (always offering a treat / snacks) and very friendly / interactive to help my son get through his haircut. Highly recommend!
I had a great beautician on my hair today her name is Katrina she is a kind,thoughtful young lady,she took her time,I left 100%satisfied I'm not a person who let's just anyone in my hair I've used them in the past when i 1st moved to far Rockaway,i then had to deal with health related issues like breast cancer,chemotherapy,radiation.So now I'm NOW CANCER FREE!!!my hair has grown back,follicles are strong,firm.So i got the okay! From the dermatologist,cosmetologist,nowI've resumed my healthy hair journey with ana's hair salon.they are fabulous I love this place.Take your hair here,ooh! CARINAS CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!
The only reason I’m NOT leaving a low rating is because of HEIDI!!!!!!!!. I came here based on reviews, and from the moment I called, Heidi picked up the phone and was sweet, welcoming, attentive, and extremely informative. She made the entire experience smooth and comfortable.
During my appointment, everything went great. As I was getting ready to leave, Heidi was taking her time comparing glasses for me and giving me extra information I needed (It was slow )
That’s when CARINA made an unnecessary and unprofessional comment in front of me, saying:
“Why are you wasting your time with someone who isn’t interested in buying today?”
CORRECT ; I wasn’t buying that day. I was very clear with Heidi that I would be coming back once my glasses were ready, and I fully intended to purchase because of how well Heidi treated me.
For context, I work in customer service and have been selling cars for 10 years. I’m a sucker for a great salesperson or GENUINE person , and will happily SPEND my money with the right person. That person was Heidi.
But Carina’s comment left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would rather not buy frames in that store because of that comment.
I will still recommend this place to my coworkers but ONLY if you ask for Heidi and shes working that day
If Carina/Karina is there ill make sure they wont go in that day

I go see Ms. Patt when I go. She keeps me fresh when I need my hair down. There is a barber and a few braiders but I have never seen anyone else. Walk-Ins are welcome
