Animal Hospitals near Dobbs Ferry picked by BestProsInTown
“Dobbs Ferry Animal Hospital is terrific. We've been taking our pets there for 20 years. Don't be deterred by the office's modest appearance. It's a serious, extremely competent place. Everyone is devoted to their work and very knowledgeable. Ignore people who say they found staff rude. They're not. Dr. Mendelsohn is a straightforward, no-nonsense doc. Same with the vet tech. Parking lot is limited but you can park on a side street.”
“I drove over 100 miles to come here because they specialize in eye care and they have a few vets so you can get an appointment that isn't over a month out. I'm very happy with my experience. My GSD gets anxious at the vet and normally doesn't do as well with male vets, but Dr. Gaarder had a calm presence and the exams went smoothly. He thoroughly explained our GSDs condition and things to look out for that would warrant a call to the office. The cost of the visit was very reasonable for a specialist.”
“Amazing staff and wonderful service. We’ve been taking our pets here for years and will never change. Our dog recently ate an entire bag of pistachios (I know!) and they took us immediately. They are always so excited to see our animals.”
