Literally can't contact them. You're on hold for hours, they never return calls back when you hold place in line. One time I had to actually go into the office to make an appointment.
After leaving with an illness, I was told my script would be sent to the pharmacy and it would be ready within the hour. I went to the pharmacy and hour later and they had not even received the script yet. It’s been 3 hours since and still no script has been sent to my pharmacy. I was also not told when I could return to work prior my visit. Poor communication & service through the pharmacy.
I have read all these 1 star reviews about Primary Care of WNY. I must be going somewhere else? Because I am having NONE of these problems. For years I saw Dr David Martinke and he was a great doctor. I moved to Florida for 6 years and returned three years ago. In that the Wheatfield office was close to where I live I made an appointment with Dr Megan Wierchowski. Yes, waiting on the phone can be frustrating. But that's with EVERYTHING now-a-days. And I have never waited more than 10 minutes. It has been three years now with Dr Wierchowski. The staff at the Wheatfield office are always polite. The staff at the Kenmore office is as well. My office wait has NEVER been more than 10 minutes. To the man who wrote he waited over TWO hours? Nonsense. The staff would have had you reschedule. And no one in their right mind sits there for two hours. You may have been at the DMV. If I need to see a physician quickly I can usually get into see the PA within a day or two. This is pretty standard for all Dr's offices. I usually see Katie Rodriguez. She takes her time with me, shows concern and ALWAYS tells me she will inform Dr Wierchowski of my visit. Dr Megan Wierchowski is not only one of the better doctors I have had the pleasure of interacting with, but also one of the NICER people I see for health concerns. She talks with me, not AT me. If my health problem requires a referral she is always spot on with specialist I see. It's always another excellent doctor. For non emergencies I use the patient portal. Most times I have a response by the end of the day. If it is late afternoon I wake to a reply first thing in the morning. I am a 69 yr old male and thought having a young female doctor would be uncomfortable. Not so with Dr Wierchowski. I can talk about male related problems but more importantly to me we can talk about AGE related maladies. I am getting older you know. I have never had a problem with check out, lost test results or billing. When new people deciding where to go read these one star reviews, does it not strike you as odd the reviewer has problems with EVERTHING associated with a doctor's office?
