“Dr. Lee is amazing! He performed laser photocoagulation in both of my eyes due to small holes from lattice degeneration. I was very nervous, but I am so glad I went through with it. He answered all of my questions and was excellent during the procedure. He told me how it was going and was very clear about my results. The pain was minimal and recovery was easy. After initially having slight issues with the team of attending doctors who didn’t bother to even look twice at what was going on and just treated me like another number, nurse Dolan quickly was able to rectify the situation, adjust my medication and completely turned this experience around for me. The level of attentiveness and compassion from her for me being fresh out of a very painful surgery was unmatched. Shannan Dolan is what we need more of at albany medical center. People who care a lot patients. I was able to discharge from the hospital with the appropriate medications that weren’t previously even in the system like they were supposed to be, thanks to Nurse Dolan who handled it all quickly and efficiently.
