“I hired J. Kinford Beauty for my April 2022 wedding and would highly recommend them for future brides. Jen and her team are super responsive, and I really appreciated having a skin consultation 6 months prior to my wedding; she put in a lot of work and effort in sending me a list of skincare products and a routine to follow leading up to the big day. For makeup, I wanted a natural but glamourous look for my wedding day and thought that she really delivered. I worked with Jenny on my hair and she was able to take a few inspo images I gave and turn it into a great hairstyle for the day of. The morning of my wedding, they came a half an hour early to prepare and stuck perfectly to the timeline. They made the morning relaxing and easy, and I know my bridesmaids and mob/mog loeved their looks too. “I've been going to GodlyLash since it opened almost 6 years ago. Eddily is amazing, I've known her for awhile. She went from being the lady I see every 3 weeks who does my lashes, to also being my friend. She takes her time to make sure your lashes or brows are perfect. It makes me feel so beautiful (I get the mega)! I literally wake up every morning without having to put makeup on since Eddily does my lashes and eyebrows. 150% would recommend. Definitely book your appointments in advance since she books up fast!“
“Mia is the queen of the powder shading technique. My whole life I’ve had light, thin eyebrows and would get them done at random nail salons where they were waxed and plucked to barely anything (that’s on being a teen in the early 2000s)… then I a friend told me about Mia. I am not the most makeup inclined and I was tired of looking at my face and barely seeing any eyebrows. I booked with her 2 years ago and it was the best decision I could have made. My powder shaded eyebrows have brought me so much confidence and have completed my look. I get compliments on them all the time and the way mia makes them look so natural, most people don’t even realize they’re not my own. Mia is extremely talented, makes you feel comfortable, checks in with you throughout the treatment, and offers her suggestions. She doesn’t make you feel dumb or rushed, she takes her time explaining everything. Following her aftercare, my brows lasted 2 years and even still when I went in for my touch up they looked great. She uses clean technique and she’s willing to work with you. I’m very laid back and trust her to do what she thinks is best & she has proven to me that just letting her do her thing is for my benefit because the results are incredible. If you’re thinking about getting them done, just book a consult & she will explain it all and draw out what she’s going to do and then you can go from there, no harm no foul! “I just found Raymond as I was moving out of New Canaan--what a shame for me! He literally gave me the best haircut I've ever had. Now I have to drive up from Virginia for my cuts because I can't live without his talent. Fortunately for me, the cuts are so great they last a long time. It looks different as it grows out, obviously, but still fantastic. The salon is so convenient and just focused on great hair so he and his wife, who is a colorist, can keep the prices reasonable.
