I've been going to see Kim at Roots Radical for 7 years - CURLY GIRLS, IT IS A MUST! And now that she is up North - I'm thrilled to be able to get the same amazing NYC style and care with a parking space right outside the shop ;) Kim is a genius with hair CARE. She has completely changed how I care for my hair and the results have always shown up for me and bring me back year after year!

So happy that I’ve found an amazing curly cut salon that actually took the time to explain curly hair care to my teenager daughter. Bonus that her cut looked fantastic too! Highly recommend
I was impressed by the whole experience. The salon is clean and bright. I appreciate that she was not juggling other customers at the same time. She asked about my current routine and took the time to explain a better method for optimal styling and hair health. Most importantly, she styled/trimmed without cutting too much. Other stylists would almost always cut my 3c hair too short. My curls were poppin when I left the salon and I still had my length! Simply said, I will definitely be returning!
