Doris was absolutely fabulous! She accommodated me as a walk-in who was in desperate need of a color service. She not only managed to fit me in and create a wonderful color, the price was extremely affordable!! She also blew dried, put product in and shaved my neck for the unbelievable price of $27.50! My experience as a first time client was exceptional and when I am visiting Cooperstown next summer, I shall return!!

Our airline lost our luggage on the way to Cooperstown. My son’s prescription glasses, daily contact lenses, and all of his baseball gear were in those bags. After spending the entire night trying to track them down and getting nowhere, I was exhausted and honestly starting to panic. My son had games that morning, and I didn’t know how I was going to get him on the field unable to see.
I sent Cooperstown Optical an email in the middle of the night, hoping someone might be able to help.
I called the moment they opened, they had already looked at his prescription and had contacts waiting for us at the front desk.
They didn’t know me. I wasn’t a patient. I was just a dad from out of town trying to make sure his son didn’t miss out on something he’d worked so hard for.
They could have easily told me to make an appointment or that there wasn’t anything they could do. Instead, they chose to be there without hesitation.
In one of the most stressful travel experiences I’ve ever had, they treated us with genuine compassion and urgency. They cared. And that made all the difference.
Because of them, my son was able to step onto the field and enjoy Cooperstown.
I’ll never forget that.

We had an amazing experience with the Revolution Solar team. They are really knowledgable, responsive, and so easy to work with. They set up our EcoFlow battery back-up system with a smart panel and now we should be able to get through about a day using our essentials when the grid goes down. We plan to add solar panels soon. Wonderful experience with the smithy every time. The staff is warm and welcoming, the teachers are top notch, and the variety of perspectives, skill levels and wide range of talents of the open studio folks is amazing. I’m writing in response to the review by Michelle Kilimonis… I’ve been a customer of Sara’s for 15 years and Sara is the exact opposite of a rude person and business owner. She’s extremely talented at what she does, that is why she’s booked out weeks in advance! She has a large group of loyal local clients that she works her ass off for. You tourists come to our town with your horrible attitudes thinking that you’re entitled to what you want when you want it and when you don’t get it, you trash someone’s reputation.
Shame on you! Take that attitude back to Boston and don’t come back!
Vets listened very well and were very accommodating to help us with our diabetic cat. Will make the trip again for another medical needs animal soon.
