we called Pete with an emergency sewer blockage this morning. Since this was a Sunday I knew we were going to have a problem getting someone today. We explained the problem and he arrived within an hour and he had everything up and running before noon. We can’t thank him enough for being so professional, prompt and considerate of our needs. We recommend him wholeheartedly.

Pete the plumber is a first rate plumber and a very honest one. He will not charge you for services you don't need. I had what I thought was a broken garbage disposal and a clogged drain. Pete came by very promptly and removed the clogs and this enabled the disposal to work and the drain to run smoothly. Another plumbing company had come by earlier and proceeded to tell me that I would need new pipes installed in my basement as well as a new garbage disposal. They wanted to charge me more than $4000 for services and pipe replacement that I didn't need. If you need a plumber check with Pete the Plumber first. He doesn't rip people off because he has integrity!

I have owned a two-family on Park Avenue in Schenectady for about 25 years. I have used Pete to unclog my main sanitary sewer line 2 or 3 times over the years. I have also had him replace 2 water heaters (that he doesn’t do anymore). Every time I have used him he’s been terrific. His prices are fair. He doesn’t ‘come up with extra problems’, like some of the larger HVAC companies do. He simply gets the job done.
Each time I’ve needed him I had emergencies. He has always gotten to me quickly.
Today he augured the sewer line for $400. It is a miserable job to have to do it. I could have rented or borrowed machine, but I’m 67 and I just decided to have a pro like Pete get it done.
Pete educated me about what was going on. I just purchased a drain jetter and Pete told me that if I jet out the line once a year I probably won’t need to call him in the future.
I highly recommend him!

Called Pete left a message as his voice mail stated. His voice mail stated he would call me back that night… never happened…maybe he should be called Pete the procrastinator. I waited the whole day… I decided to call a different plumber

After a long day of calling, multiple plumber around the area I was able to get a hold of Pete. He was able to see me and did the did job within an a few hour of calling him. He was professional, reliable and left the place extremely clean. Highly recommended

I unfortunately got my hose stuck to my outdoor water spigot. Pete came and got it unstuck for me. He didn't even charge me for it either. Other places wanted to charge me 100 dollars to even come out and just look at it. I will be using him in the future!
