“Beautiful outcome and great to work with. Had landscape and total lawn redone. They showed up promptly to evaluate job, gave a detailed estimate with plant allowance, and an estimated work date. They met the date, completed the work in two days within the price estimate to my complete satisfaction. I was apprehensive on the design and Tom calmly explained his process. Sadie confirmed plant placement prior to work. They responded promptly when I had questions after the estimate. All the workers were kind and conscientious doing such intense work in 90+ degree weather. It's so nice to work with responsible people of integrity. “I've been using McNutt Landscaping for nearly four years at two different properties. I first used Jason and his crew at a rental in North Buffalo. He was able to easily navigate our narrow driveway and always had us plowed out in time to leave for work in the morning, even when we had early morning lake effect snow. I also used his sidewalk shoveling service at this location. I recently bought a home outside of the city, and he gladly continued to service my new property for both lawn mowing, leaf removal and snow plowing. I have found Jason and his crew to be extremely prompt, reliable and responsive. If I email him a question about my service or additional visits, he always replies within 24 hours and is always able to offer a helpful reply. He's sent his crews back to re-plow our driveway after we moved cars around, he's added leaf removal service for a small additional fee and overall has kept our property looking great in both the winter and summer. I've sent his name to at least 5 friends when they've been looking for plow and landscaping service in the city of Buffalo and the suburbs. Cleanup…don’t leave a mess…“

“We’ve known Mr. Alan and his work for over 16 years, and have been his clients for several of those years. We hired him to take care of my in-laws’ (both in their 80s) front yard and sidewalk after trying to manage it ourselves.
Despite our efforts, my father-in-law often wouldn’t wait for the path to be cleared after a snowstorm and would try to do it himself. We initially hired another landscaping and snow plowing service, but they were occasionally unreliable, often forgetting to clear the driveway, which prompted us to look elsewhere.

We chose Mr. Alan because of his impeccable track record. For years, we’ve watched him consistently maintain the yards and sidewalks of three of our neighbors, showing up as early as 4 or 5 a.m. and every Tuesday in the summer to mow the grass. His punctuality and dedication are unmatched.

I suggested hiring him after observing his reliability, but the decision ultimately rested with my husband and his siblings. Initially, they opted for a larger company run by someone they knew, but that company had their hands full and their inconsistent service, occasional lapses and my father-in-law lack of patience led us back to Mr. Alan.

With Mr. Alan, we’ve never had to worry about missed appointments. He’s a no-nonsense guy who gets the job done as it should be. Some might find him serious, but his focus is on delivering service—not on providing the overly polite or pampering attitude some may expect these days.

One of the negative reviews he received seems unfair. It came from a former neighbor who disrespected him after a snowstorm. She was frustrated, arguing on the phone with her ex, and lashed out at him when he arrived to clean her driveway, we were in the middle of cleaning our sidewalk and had to presence the show of her on the phone before he even arrived, Mr. Alan stood his ground, spoke to her firmly and ended their business relationship, this drama happen before we hire him.

Unfortunately, some reviews reflect personal grievances rather than the quality and consistency of his work.

If you’re looking for someone reliable, consistent, with a proven track record of over 15 or 16 years, I highly recommend Mr. Alan. Ignore the occasional tantrums in reviews—he is a serious individual who gets the job done and his work speaks for itself.“

“As I lay face down on the asphalt, my arm in a storm drain trying to scoop out a dozen baby ducks I was approached by Scott of Luds landscaping. ‘What’s going on?’ he asked. There’s ducks in the storm drain and i cant reach them. With out a hesitation Scott used his condor like wingspan and scooped out the remains ducks one at a time.
