I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Cimato. During our visit, he opened a door in a way that struck me, and he did not acknowledge it or offer an apology. Throughout the appointment, his demeanor appeared visibly agitated, particularly while listening to my mother, who is navigating serious health concerns.
His tone came across as dismissive and condescending, and the overall interaction felt rushed and lacking in basic empathy. Medical appointments can be stressful and vulnerable moments, especially for patients and families managing complex conditions, and professionalism, patience, and respect are essential.

I would like to express my disappointment in Great Lakes Cardiovascular -a few months ago I was experiencing growing and very concerning heart palpitations and arrhythmia - I frequently (more than 10 to 15 times a day) had very deep and painful, sometimes dizzy heart palpitations that I expressed to the cardiologist at Great Lakes. I have a bit of anxiety/aka/concern naturally, but this make me very anxious because I never experienced something like this - when all things were said and done, they used old echocardiograms from a visit I made months prior from Suburban Cardiology (when I had something similar), and did a stress test, as well as a 24 monitor. This place is horrible. You’re just a number to them. They can’t be bothered to get back to their patients on follow-ups. I suggest looking else where. You’ll realize this the first time you call and are put on hold for 30 minutes or longer. Just gets worse as you become a patient.
