Very interesting and educational place, and they have volunteer classes that seem like even more fun than the tour I took here. It's a must visit for anyone interested in boats imo

They're building a new canal packet boat from scratch. Very interesting place with informative staff and views of the boat under construction. Google search seems to show multiple addresses. This is a new/rebuilt and fresh building at Canal Side.

We called ahead and talked to Paul just to confirm boats were available. When we got there we saw it was next to a very nice restaurant and a beautiful lake. We got a few 4-seater flamingo boats and cruised around the lake for about 30 minutes. It was a very fun experience and a fun new memory with my family. The workers were very nice, professional, and super helpful. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in a unique mini-adventure.
