Pekoe came in with constipation and pain. Everyone was so attentive and professional. The vet was super informative and my kitty was taken care of immediately. The small office and staff make you feel more cared for. And less like a number.

My cat has already been considered as aggressive, but today she was calm and quiet. The treatment she got allowed her to relax and receive treatment. The doctor and staff were welcoming, serene and knowledgeable.

Dr. Burkard is the best of the best. We rescued a kitten found in the streets of South Buffalo with multiple unexpected health issues. She has helped us navigate diagnosis and treatment options with patience and her abundance of knowledge. She is truly passionate about helping cats and it shows every time she sees my Marvin. We often found ourselves in need of a same day appointment. Instead of paying $$$ at the emergency vet, Dr. Burkard and her staff are always able to fit him in their schedule which we are incredibly grateful for every single time. It is truly worth any price to know your cat is in good hands, although having pet insurance definitely helps! Thank you for all that you do Buffalo Feline Hospital!!! <3

Won’t give you pricing to fix your kitten until you show up to your $75 visit. The cheapest spay option was $776 for me which is out of budget. I feel like I just threw $75 down the drain to have her ears cleaned. Now I am going to a different vet who charges $400 and gives pricing over the phone.

Dr. Burkard is a wonderful doctor. She is patient, listens to you thoroughly, and is very thoughtful in her approach. I always appreciate how much time she spends with me and my cat(s). The office is quiet and calm and staff are really sweet. It is more expensive than my previous vet, but the quality of the specialized feline care is higher and they always make an effort to explain diagnostic and treatment options so I can make an informed decision.

Everything is great at BFH. The office is so welcoming, clean and comfortable. Everyone is so friendly to me and gentle with my cat. They explained everything from medication to costs. His arthritis was actually acknowledged and now he's getting treatment. No other vet office has caught that with him even though I've brought it up before elsewhere. I was given so much literature to read about his conditions and given in depth lab results with explanations. Other places I've gone, I just get a bill receipt Here, I get all the information I need and want. I can ask questions and not be felt like they are dumb or unwelcome to ask! Dr. B is amazing! The techs are great! The front desk receptionist is so sweet and kind. Customer service is above and beyond as well as bedside manner with my kitty.. Kindness and in depth explanations about my cat's health were so appreciated. And the treats he got when he was getting his nails trimmed really helped him relax and feel loved and not scared. BFH is the best vet hospital I've ever taken my cat to in the nearly 18 years I've had my kitty. In just a few days I'm noticing my little guy is feeling better than he has in 8 months.

From the moment I walked in there till the time I left I felt like I was surround by friends who cared about my Ninja as much as I do. Dr Burkard took the time to explain every single thing that was going to happen and brought me back to see my baby as soon as possible. The love and compassion we were both shown was commendable. The vet staff at this location are kind professionals who will treat your cat with attention and care. Some places feel like a county hospital, but this place feels like a private practice without the upcharge in price.
