I first brought my pet here in August 2019 for an emergency (CCL) when our regular vet was closed. I was so impressed with the quality of care, Vinegar Hill became our primary vet and we haven't looked back. I was initially impressed by the cleanliness and the relative spaciousness of the Dumbo location compared to our former Williamsburg based vet clinic when we walked/hobbled in. I was next struck by the kindness, patience and good humor of the entire staff. Then, when we met the doctor, I felt we were in very good hands. We’ve been very happy with Vinegar Hill. The support staff is awesome and so are the Vet Techs. All the Vets seem well trained and very responsible. I appreciate that they are open on weekends!
The Vinegar Hill Brooklyn Heights office is located in a charming historic neighborhood on a quiet street. The place itself is warm and comforting and the staff is super friendly.
Dr. Sara Neuman had been recommended to me as a qualified avian vet. Avian vets are hard to find in NYC and I did not wish to take my parakeet to a busy animal hospital. Taking a delicate bird to the vet is stressful enough.
