I struggled to find a good vet I could trust since moving to nyc and so happy I found them. Been going now for a few years. They really care and help explain what’s going on…and they’re flexible with courses of action to help me not spend too much. Will always fit me in asap…honestly I’m a little nervous reviewing them because I want to keep it secret. Thanks so much yall.

I had such a great experience with Wellness Vet for my dog, Hubcap. I brought him in because he was lethargic, not eating, and clearly in pain. Dr. Henry examined him, gave him pain medication to keep him comfortable, and scheduled him for a neuter and some teeth extractions. Because Hubcap also had swelling in his genitals, they performed a biopsy as well.
He was scheduled for surgery on Friday, April 3, and during the procedure, Dr. Henry personally called me to let me know everything was going well and asked if I wanted to proceed with the extractions while he was already under anesthesia. That personal touch meant a lot to me.
I truly can’t say enough about how grateful I am for Wellness Vet. Hubcap went from being sick and uncomfortable to being his normal, happy self again. They even called to check in on him during recovery, and the medications kept him comfortable the entire time.
I also made a mistake and accidentally left one of his medications out instead of refrigerating it, and they kindly replaced it for me without any issue.
When I went back for stitch removal, the staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful—especially since Hubcap was not making it easy! They answered all my questions and made the whole process smooth.
Best of all, they gave me the biopsy results, and thankfully it was negative for cancer! My boy is back to his sweet self, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
Once again, I’m extremely grateful and very satisfied with the care Hubcap received. Highly recommend!

We got an appointment same day and they took great care of our little cat. They were patient and answered all of our questions. Our cat seemed to enjoy himself there! Thanks to the staff, including the receptionist, for their help!

This is a fairly good vetinary office. They seem to care about the animals they care for their vets are good although it is fairly expensive so I will give 4 stars

We have been bringing our two cats here for more than six years and have had excellent experiences. Dr. Arpino was able to diagnose a really tricky disease in one of our cats that other vets had missed completely. The treatment gave her a new lease on life, and she looks like a completely different -- healthy -- cat.

Front desk intake was super flexible, made same day appointment and was seen within 3 hours. Vanessa the vet tech was super thorough and helpful. Dr Henry was great and felt that my cat was in good hands

Really great clinic with incredibly compassionate and professional staff who truly care about your pets. Some of the pets in the waiting room were genuinely excited to see the doctors, which I’ve never seen! I was also really grateful for how transparent they were about pricing. They told me on the phone before and gave an estimate before completing any procedures. They also seem to really value animal wellbeing and comfort above profit. Unfortunately I went in and found out my cat likely has cancer, and they were really gracious. Dr. Micheal had a calming presence and was very courteous. They helped me have conversations about end of life care and keeping her comfortable, rather than suggesting expensive treatments that would just keep her in pain for longer. Truly a great vet

Morning I feel the need to write a review. Brought my cat in bc she was drooling for a bit then stopped eating so much and was lethargic. Dr Alpina came in felt around and declared she has a squamous cell carcinoma in her mouth, really!!!. I know for a fact one cannot know exactly what kind of mass unless there is a biopsy. I was in shock. They sent me home with steroids and dropper to be administered everyday, w/o much instruction. Long story short I called multiple times with questions, each time a different young female answered and had to go thru the whole thing. Eventually I requested the Doctor to call me, young female on phone, he is too busy to call you. Really!!!! I just dropped $600 and Doctor diagnosed without biopsy and too busy to call me. I went back in person and spoke with a different Doctor, also I need to give fluids etc. I was in such shock, unbeknownst to me, I left my expensive glasses there and was frantic looking for them. It’s been a tough couple of days, needless to say I am not happy with the service. Expensive without the proper service would warrant and Doctor had the bedside manner of AI. Note it could be Melanoma which would mean something very different. I’m doing my best taking care of a sick cat which might not make it in 3 to 6 months or who knows???

Disappointed with my experience at Veterinary Wellness Center. Louis received a B12 shot on 1/17/2026 and had a severe allergic reaction, which wasn't flagged as a risk. When I tried to reach out, the clinic was closed earlier than stated. Follow-up call was unhelpful. 😔 Wouldn't recommend reservations.
