absolutely horrible do not waste your time here. the staff is so rude (especially the main lady with the white coat). they do not know how to talk to people and they’re absolutely disrespectful. they don’t give you what you ask for and claim it cannot be done and will not listen to the customer. they do whatever they want to do and have such a rude tone no matter how nicely you talk to them. she claims there’s no such thing as a blowout and they can only do two things - curl or straight. instead go to the salon across the street “New Light” so much better and nice people and they DO WHAT YOU WANT.

I’ve been coming to this salon for years and have always liked it, so this time I decided to bring my mother-in-law, who hasn’t been to a hair salon in over 10 years. I thought she deserved something nice, so I brought her here and chose the most expensive hair dye option, which was $100, plus $25 for cut and shampoo—totaling $125.
I was told that the $100 dye was better than the $80 one, so we chose that. After about 2 hours and 30 minutes, her hair was done. However, shortly after, her ears, the sides of her neck, and her scalp became very itchy. It’s now been 10 days, and her ear is still red and swollen.

Brought my young daughter for haircut, length only, the lady took 3 min get the job done, length wasn’t right, asked her to do again, took another 1-2 mins. Went home, daughter bent she head, and look at what they did!!! The most horrible hair cut she ever got and I have ever seen. No respect to customer at all! I don’t trust them have the capacity or the heart to fix it, I was so angry with what they have done and went to another hair salon right away, cost 2/3 the price, they took three times the time, and got a normal hair cut. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE unless you want to be butchered like a pig and pay high price for that! HOME HAIR CUT IS WAY BETTER THAT! One of my stupidest decision to visit their hair shop!

The stylist who helped with my son's haircut was friendly and did a nice job styling his hair. He's ready for picture day for school!! One of the best price in Brooklyn!!

The price of my wash and cut was $25 (not including tip) so the services are very affordable. Amy and Yan do a great job with cut & styling!The hair wash is revitalizing. Depending on the person washing your hair, you may or may not get a couple of minutes of massage, which is a bonus.

I've been here a few times, they messed me up every single time. Main thing is they don't know how to proportion the hair (cuts too short and everything is unbalanced compared to the images you show them) so save your money

I came here in may and it’s taken me forever to write this review. Had an absolute horrible experience. I came in wanted to dye my hair a natural color coming from some purple highlights they had previously done for me . I explained this to them before that my hair is previously colored by them , seeing Gary my usual stylist was not here. They blonde lady assured me everything was going to be okay , and that they needed to bleach my old color out first so I trusted her (1st mistake). After having the bleach on for some time , I was getting concerned cause no one had come to check in on me . When I brought this to their attention they came running over, and assured me everything was fine, but when my friend looked as they were there was major damage. I then asked if I can get rinsed out seeing that they had no intention of doing so yet. They finally listened to me and as soon as they started washing it my hair started falling out in clumps. My friend was watching this as they were pulling at it as well, when I got up from washing to check they clumped everything up so I couldn’t see to hide it . The blonde lady then took me to her chair saying “color looks good” to try and reassure me and blow out my hair. When I looked I was devastated. Half my hair on one side was gone. She seemed happy with her work and started rushing me to the front to pay $250. When I explained this was ridiculous , she got offended and started screaming at me “don’t come back”. I paid and returned the next day to show what happened seeing I couldn’t even wear my hair out out of how bad it looked . The owner then said “he wasn’t here so , no refund, but just a condition treatment for the damage. I left so heartbroken there was no way to fix this. I have not returned since and cut my hair myself to my ears so it didn’t look as bad. I donor recommend coming here seeing as they don’t care about their quality of work or customers.The picture with highlights was before I went into the salon, semi long , but healthy .Services: Blowouts

I have been coming here for 14 years, so I am still satisfied with their work. Ann is my hairdresser, I like her work.. The shop is clean and the workers here are attentive.
