Love Red Hydrant for my mini-schnauzer. Owner Jeff is extremely kind and adaptable with dogs of all breeds and attuned to each dog’s specific needs. If you’re based in Brooklyn, there are so many daycare/boarding options and I’ve evaluated a few.
Red Hydrant makes the process of boarding painless and I always trust my dog will be in safe and caring hands when in their care.
We cannot say enough good things about The Red Hydrant Dog Hotel and Daycare, and especially Jeff and his team! They have been exceptional for our dog Gordo and our three cats during multiple in-home boarding stays (often for a week at a time), as well as for regular dog walks. I’m very selective about who I trust with our pets, and Jeff earned that trust immediately. From the very first visit, he stood out. Gordo is a rescue who can be wary of new people, and Jeff instinctively understood that trust takes time. He met Gordo exactly where he was, moved at his pace, and made him feel completely at ease. Just when I thought there wasn’t a doggy daycare that would cater to my pup, my love without jumping through 1000 hoops, here comes Red Hydrant and Jeff, it’s extraordinary owner!
