I’ve had a great experience with Maria. She worked very quickly and efficiently. The area she worked on is looking so much better after just a few sessions. If you have lighter hairs I recommend applying an eyelash tint a few hours before the session so they can be cleared faster.

I began electrolysis here about 2.5 years ago to remove a whole beard’s worth of chin and cheek hair caused by PCOS. From my very first consult with Julia, she was honest with me about how long it would take to see results, her pricing, and how it might affect my skin. All of the information she provided turned out to be extremely accurate.
I began with regular weekly hour long sessions and after about 1 year was able to decrease the frequency and time. Now I am only going in about once a month for 30 min of maintenance and am continuing to see less and less hair come back. When I compare this to how much time I was spending removing hair EVERY DAY this has truly been a miraculous cure. This process has actually helped heal my skin as well— because I am not plucking or using makeup to cover up hairs, my skin has calmed down considerably since I began. My acne has improved and my skin overall is healthier.
Julia was compassionate but direct with me about the changes I would need to make to my routine at the start (no more plucking, avoiding certain makeup) and I understood all parts of the process. She has been more than accommodating with scheduling and even changes in appointments throughout my entire journey. I really cannot recommend her services enough as they have truly changed my life.

I started electrolysis at another location and 9 months into my treatment moved to NYC and found this place via google. After two years of electrolysis at Williamsburg Electrolysis, I was not seeing any results. Six months ago I switched back to my original electrolysis from where I started this journey and am seeing incredible progress. I am really happy I left.

I've been getting electrolysis services for two years. It has been a really great experience. The place is clean and I have never had an issue with scheduling. Julia and Maria have been very accommodating. Electrolysis is a very lengthy process but if you stay consistent and commit to the journey, you will get the desired results. This has been the best electrolysis services I've had compared to other places in Manhattan. I highly recommend this location. They also offer other services and hair removal packages take advantage of it.

After going to this business for months for a small amount of hair, I noticed the same hairs were returning quite quickly. I also noticed I only sometimes heard a beeping sound when a hair was removed. After doing some research found out that if you are not hearing the beep, the hair is just being removed like plucking not actually electrolysis. Make sure you hear the beep or you're just paying an inflated amount for tweezing!
