Sabi Construction worked with Con-Ed and then increased the electrical service coming into the apartment. Previously I had a few old glass screw-in fuses in my closet. Now I have a real electrical panel. Working with Sabi’s electrician, we were able to add an energy-efficient cooktop, washer, dryer, and more lighting. I worked with Sabi Construction on a complete gut renovation of our one-bedroom apartment in a NYC brownstone co-op. The project involved upgrading a very old electrical system, moving and rerouting old plumbing, fixing walls, replacing slanted and damaged floors, adding cabinets, upgrading appliances, and figuring out the décor of all of this. The subcontractors – plumber, electrician, floor, tiling, and cabinet hanger people – were all top notch. They were respectful of the building and neighbors, and extremely detail oriented, creative, and thorough.
