Hey everyone! I just got my hair done by Rama yesterday and I definitely wanted to write a review! I used to get my hair braided all the time but in recent years I stopped because the stylist that I had for years quit. Afterwards, I just let my hair be natural but I got so tired of it, I had to find a replacement braider. It took me a long while because I didn't think anyone could be as good or better than my original stylist. I mean imagine being with someone for 16 years then all of a sudden you have to find someone new. 😕 So yes, I was definitely hesitant. Anyways, skip to now, I did my research and came across Rama and i am sooo glad I did! Rama was very nice, sweet, and incredibly gentle on my hair. I had showed her old pictures of how i liked my hair done and she went right to work. She understood 100% how I wanted it and I didn't have to worry. She also informed me that i was low on hair. I should've had more packs, and i didn't know that, but thankfully she had some of my color on her and she used that to help. My hair came out PERFECT! As you all know braiding can take hours, but for me the hours flew by because Rama was great company. I don't regret at all going to her! She made my day so nice and I was so happy when i left! My hair is beautiful and my birthday is in two days! I'm going to look gorgeous and it's all thanks to her. 🙂 After all these years, I'm VERY relieved to say I have found my new braider!!! Rama is the best and i will be going to her from now on! Thank you so much, Rama!

1) some highlights to point out are that you are able to book an early or later appointment than most other braiding salons. 2) secondly you won't find a braided style that cant be done! bring a picture of your style and walk out looking better than the picture! 3) more than one braider in the shoppe at all times so even if they are busy the wait time is less than 1 hour. see if you can beat that at another spot! 4) price price price. better or equal to anyone around. this has made me come back to Rama on Utica Avenue in Brooklyn more than 6x.
