I've been coming here since Angela, one of the hair stylists, moved here from her shop in Williamsburg. After I moved from the neighborhood, I tried other places, but the other places were disasters! So now, even though I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, I always come back. Reasonably priced. Friendly and courteous staff. Close to the G train, so it's convenient to many different places in Brooklyn.

I discovered the place when I needed color correction on my lunch hour. Marzena saved the day, and I haven't stopped going to her since. She's an AMAZING colorist, and an absolute delight. Plus, she keeps track of your specific recipe, and has it ready to go within seconds if you're just going for a refresher. Also, this is a gem of a location in Greenpoint with the most affordable rates for high-end products (and services). A roomy, clean and airy spa with good vibes from front to back. The best part is that hipsters haven't discovered it yet (strangely, because they'd love its authentic Polish vibe), and most likely continue to pay way too much... read full review
