    I have been going to Carol at Punta Cana Beauty Salon for the past 7 years, and I refuse to go elsewhere. I am an African American woman with fairly coarse coils. Since going to this location, my hair has been the healthiest it has ever been (see photos below). Even when I lived out of state, I would travel to NYC just to get my hair done by Carol. She is the ultimate professional and just a wonderful human being. She always does an excellent job with my hair. The prices are fairly reasonable and not overpriced like other NYC hair salons.     Wow these ladies are so sweet, I read a few reviews and figured I'd take a chance since the salon was right off the Q line and happy I did! I have kinky/curly highlighted hair so needs hydration and gentle hands. The woman washing my hair actually let me read over the ingredients in the conditioning treatments so I could choose one I like (if you've been to other Dominican salons you know it's a mystery sometimes what goes on in the wash bowl). They even had a steamer for the treatment to work it's magic!     I get my hair done sometimes at this spot. I look Spanish, and I am not; I am just the mixed European chick from down the block. I know that is confusing to a lot of Spanish people I think it's a communication thing. Other then that they do my hair very well.
