I've been here a few times now, and I can honestly say they give the best haircut I've ever gotten. They listen to you, don't rush the haircuts, have a bunch of barbers so I haven't had to wait. I go to Mike, but they all seem excellent. I don't write a lot of reviews, but these guys deserve the 5 stars.

I walked in disheveled, mussy haired, sweating, and with a manic look to my eye. I trudged across a half mile of Brooklyn looking for an open barbershop - during the middle of the day. Why are barber shops closed at random business hours!? Eric calmy offered to cut my hair, despite indicating that he usually takes appointments. After he wrapped up cutting his kids hair, he took his time with mine, asking for general direction but not micromanagement. On the downside, when I DO make an appointment, I still have to wait 40 minutes b/c the appointment system here works a lot like a place WITHOUT an appointment system. Hey, it's THE BEST BARBERSHOP IN BROOKLYN so that's okay. I'm repeatedly impressed by how many requests he gets. He must have turned away 4 walk-ins out of 7 who came to see him while he was cutting my hair. He received about 15 calls for appointments during that time. The haircuts are perfect. Probably the best cuts i've gotten in 30 years of living in Brooklyn. At only $11 per cut, you won't find a better haircut for the price. Side Note: It's very fascinating to see how mixed his clientele is in terms of ethnicity/religion. This place is about as "Brooklyn" as it gets. If you want to get a Michelin rated cut at a ridiculously low price in an authentic Brooklyn neighborhood, check this place out.
