No exaggeration, Palante left my home sparkling clean to the point that I want to throw a party just to show off how nice it looks. There are parts of my kitchen that I had always just assumed were permanently stained, and I came home today to find them totally clean! They were absolutely wonderful to work with. We hired Pa'lante because my mother in law is coming to visit and we've both been so busy it's been impossible (and ineffective) to clean on our own. I'm so relieved to have a spic and span apartment to show off. Also, they're an immigrant-owned cooperative which means the housecleaner is one of the owners of the business, which I love. We've been using Palante for a couple months now and we really like Lilia, the cleaner who was assigned to us. She is thorough, professional, and all-around pleasant to work with. The price is a little higher than some other cleaning services, but we love their business model and mission and understand that this is part of why the prices are a bit higher. Office communications are pretty good too.

It's really too bad. I really believe in and support their business model... a worker-owned immigrant worker cooperative. However, after approximately six months of being a regular semi-monthly customer, the woman cleaning my apartment completely damaged my hardwood floors by dragging DEEP GOUGES across the boards while moving furniture to clean behind. The company really dragged their heels in addressing the problem. I had to pay to get my floors sanded, stained, and refinished. Then the company gave me the run-around, making me wait for their insurance company to process their claim, which was ultimately denied. They then argued that I didn't need my floors completely...read full review
