This is the story of a hellish experience made right by a lab tech, medical director, and their colleagues.
My physician sent over a lab order that required 19 vials of blood plus another test. I made plans to come to One Medical months prior and was told that all I had to do was walk in once the specialized equipment was shipped to the office.
So, I came in. But there were so many hiccups with Quest and the complication of the order that it could not be done that day. The lab tech was overwhelmed, understandably. The medical director came to speak with me and was so thoughtful and patient about next steps given I’d gotten off from work early to do this.

My experience here couldn't have been any better! Haven't been to a primary care doctor in a very long time, but that will change now that I discovered this place. Dr. Banton was patient with me, answered every question I had, very friendly, pleasant, and made me feel relaxed. They were able to do labs then and there right after my appointment as well as refer me to a specialist that called me to make an appointment while I waited for my lab test! Everyone I interacted with from the front desk to the lab tech were friendly and warm. Will refer friends and family to place I felt so good about it. Also very modern and comfortable office space.
Been with OneMed for many yrs, first time at this location, just for labs. No complaints about the care or the ambiance. Biggest callout is that the wayfinding is really challenging: The OneMedical entrance is buried inside the MyGym entrance at 445 Albee Sq W., don’t even bother going through City Point. Go in the MyGym door and up one flight.
