They’re quick and can do a lot of different styles if you show photos. People always ask me wear I got my braids done after I come here and I recommend it to everyone I know! Nene is also very nice and welcoming! Love this place

I recently visited Nene Hair Braiding, and after more than 10 years of coming here, I can confidently say it’s the best! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. The atmosphere is vibrant and friendly, making me feel right at home.
The braider I worked with was incredibly skilled, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted. She was attentive to detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The braids turned out beautifully—neat, even, and just the right amount of tension.

I've gone to Nene's three times now to get braids/twist extensions installed. These ladies move quickly and do a great job. My hair is always neat and never once has a braid or twist fallen out. The braiding process goes by faster when 2-3 women are working on your head simultaneously - but it can get painful. I've experienced nothing but professionalism from these ladies and will continue to go here for my hair braiding/twisting needs as long as I'm in Brooklyn. (Originally posted in 2014)
