I have been with Dr. Loretta for AA long time, first war her place of employment and later when she opened her own practice. She has saved my late cat Leo's life several times. He passed at 17. My other cat, Meso is now 22 mainly because of Dr. Loretta is great care

the location was in 67 bayridge brooklyn I highly not recommend this vet when it comes to safe a life i felt ignore. I went there with my sphinx cat looking for help crying in pain the vet didn't even took a look at her just sent the receptionist to the front to tell me about the prices of their bussiness. instead of helping me to safe my cat she was only 5 years the only thing they said was take her to the humane society in Manhattan we don't take walk in after all that time my cat died in the way the humane vet said it was a blood clot she died in pain that if at least this place woulded stabilize her to calm her with the pain she woulded made it alive what would a pain killer cost I woulded paid if this place really care for cats in need of help why the vet didn't even check her and help me out she probably would've being here today with me. I won't recommend it is more about the money than the care of a pet sorry. they left me with a bad feeling of their way of receiving animal at their place.

I'm overall very impressed with Dr. Loretta and her staff. Dr. Loretta is a great and very knowledgable vet. I brought my elderly cat in (17 years old) because he'd been throwing up for a year straight. I did not know that was alarming, and thankfully, Dr. Loretta explained to me that he might either have IBD, or that the IBD became cancer. They immediately, urgently started the process of figuring out what he had, so that it could be treated as soon as possible. Unfortunately, they found out it was cancer, but they launched into action then too.
Since he was diagnosed, he's had a couple of health scares, and they were so attentive to what was happening with him. They took him in right away, kept me very updated, and worked very hard to figure out the variables and why he had taken a turn in his health. He is also a family cat, so Dr. Loretta took care to inform and talk to everyone involved, even though they weren't there physically. They also took care to make sure I do not run out of his essential medication. One time, my cat was close to liver failure, and I'd taken him to an emergency vet before choosing to take him here. They took him in right away and truly nursed him back to health.
I just moved across the country, and Dr. Loretta and her staff are still thinking about him. He had another health scare recently, and Dr. Loretta hopped on the phone with me and talked me through the options. They've made it clear that they are here for us, especially because I haven't found him a regular vet now. They also were hugely helpful in making sure he was healthy enough to get on a plane.
I'm seriously so grateful for this place. Their attentiveness and knowledge have saved my best friend's life a couple times already. Ultimately, if you care about the health of your pet, I highly recommend. They are good at what they do.

I have been going to Loving Paws for the last year since I moved to the neighborhood. I am a fosterer and I rescuer, so I have been to see Dr. Loretta often with a number of cats in that time. I have found her to be caring, observant and wise. Absolutely comprehensive visits for each cat. She has always been clear about what options are available and explaining why she recommends the course she does. She has has a deep understanding of animals and obviously extremely experienced diagnosing any potential health issues as they've cropped up. She's even helped find permanent homes for a couple of cats I rescued from the street, including a young kitten who wasn't eating and likely would have died without all of Loretta's amazing work and attention with her when she took her in till she was strong enough to be adopted. Dr. Lorretta also helped revive another cat who was traumatized from a bad spay (at another clinic). She worked with me over weeks to find the correct diet and medical regime to cure the ongoing infection - which may well have killed her otherwise. I am very appreciative for all of Dr. Loretta's work with all of my cats!

Dr. Pesteanu and her staff are incredible! They take the best care of our 14 year old dachshund, Rocco, and have helped him through some scary situations. We always feel so comfortable leaving Rocco in their hands and cannot say enough positive things about the staff here. You can tell they truly care for all their patients and their passion and love for caring for animals comes across at every appointment. Dr. Pesteanu and her staff listen thoughtfully to all our concerns and treat Rocco like a little Prince. Rocco has had multiple issues treated with great success at Loving Paws and we are so grateful they look after him as if he were their own <3 If you are looking for someone to go the extra mile this is the place!! Always above and beyond care <3

I have to givecredit where credit is due. It was fate that led me to Loving Paws. My poor Hazelnut was very sick and her back paw was swollen. I called Loving Paws and they scheduled me in right away. The veterinarian and her staff are amazing. They go above and beyond. Not only for your pet but also the parent. Xoxo

The vets at this place are prejudiced against minorities. They fake test results and doesn’t let the owner in the room while they’re taking the blood tests. My dog was brought here back in Feb when she had a small lump and the vet said it was nothing, it was benign and they couldn’t operate on her because of her age but they saw it 2-3 years ago and did nothing. I decided not to bring back my dog and go to a park slope location where they examined her, drew blood, and offered her ivs. Do not bring any of your pets here. The vets and staff are racist and will tell her nothing but lies to collect money.
