Jake is a fantastic trainer with deep knowledge of the body/biomechanics and an ability to help you get the best out of yourself, no matter your goals. I started working with Jake to get back in shape, build strength, and learn good form/avoid injury, and he helped me accomplish all three. I also appreciate Jake's flexibility with scheduling and extra efforts to advise on nutrition and home workout routines. The gym facility itself is great and is always being tweaked and updated with new equipment. Not to be overlooked, you also get a delicious protein shake after every workout. Overall highly recommended if you are looking for a personal trainer in the Windsor Terrace area!

Excellent personal trainer for young, old, and everything in between.
My experience with Jake’s Fitness is through my teenage son who is currently Jake’s client. Jake took my son on at the age of 12 and is guiding him through the fitness journey in a way only a professional and a great person can. Jake teaches him proper exercise form, nutrition, and explain how muscle groups work together.
Because of Jake, I have the pleasure of watching my son gain not just muscle and good nutritional habits but also confidence as he navigates his teenage years.

Jake is an incredible trainer. He is not simply a workout buff who started training other workout buffs; he has a serious education in biomechanics and related fields and is a genuine expert who knows how to make sure you get a proper workout. He also is great at tailoring your workout to your particular goal, and adapts as he learns what does and doesn’t work for you. Very grateful to have found him.

Jake is really great. I told him my goals and my budget, and he went above and beyond to create and teach me 3 separate workouts that I can continue to do independently. I've been doing 3 days a week with Jake for 6 months. While ultimately you are the one that has to do the work, knowing/what/ to do is crucial. Jake's approach is scientific; tailored to where you are today and where you are heading.Jake is a fantastic and knowledgeable trainer who has helped me not only with fitness and strength, but provided consulting on diet and nutrition. I appreciate his willingness to educate as well as instruct. I was a complete novice when I started -- someone who had never been to a gym -- so I appreciate this approach.Results have been transformative for me. Highly recommend!

I have been working with Jake for more than two years now, generally twice a week, to supplement my on-the-bike training for endurance events. Jake has been adaptive to my riding schedule, helping me get the most out of our sessions without exhausting me for upcoming long rides or events. He has even helped me recover from injuries, including a broken ankle and some broken ribs.Jake is knowledgeable about physiology and observant regarding proper form and technique. (I am largely oblivious to what my body is doing, so this is important for me.) His space has everything one needs and is well-lit, comfortable, and clean, though I will say I would often choose different music.In short, Jake has been an integral part of my training. I recommend him highly.

Jake has been my trainer for over a year now and I cannot recommend him enough. His professional knowledge, enthusiasm, passion and persistence, all helped me to get back in shape after my second son was born. Jake also helped fix my back problems by building a workout plan that suited my specific needs and issues. The studio is awesome, clean and comfortable and provides a great workout setting that keeps one wanting to come back.
