“My experience with Dave was nothing like two recent reviews, posted following his buy of United Decorators (UD) from Paul, whose excellent reputation speaks for itself.

My mom used UD many times years ago, most likely when Paul was there, so I turned to UD for my own reupholstering needs. In this case, for a tired old loveseat needing some tender loving care.

Choosing the fabric took the longest time, as some were from European sources slow to reply to inquiries about availability and cost.

Dave also rehabilitated the wood frame and applied a new coat of polish making the result a fine example of upholstery craftsmanship.

It took two months to complete but well worth the wait.

Every experience is different but I am happy to say mine was worthy of five stars.“

“A little bit of backstory, we live in Boston and finding a contractor, and finding one who doesn't ghost, or not give an estimate or who won't no show is incredibly difficult.

After months of trying to get someone in for our project block had 5 contractors giving us estimates within a couple of weeks and once we broke ground the work went smoothly and fast

Plus having someone to back us up with block really gave us a huge peice of mind
