“My experience with Dave was nothing like two recent reviews, posted following his buy of United Decorators (UD) from Paul, whose excellent reputation speaks for itself.

My mom used UD many times years ago, most likely when Paul was there, so I turned to UD for my own reupholstering needs. In this case, for a tired old loveseat needing some tender loving care.

Choosing the fabric took the longest time, as some were from European sources slow to reply to inquiries about availability and cost.

Dave also rehabilitated the wood frame and applied a new coat of polish making the result a fine example of upholstery craftsmanship.

It took two months to complete but well worth the wait.

Every experience is different but I am happy to say mine was worthy of five stars.“

“A to Z did our entire kitchen after a kitchen leak from our upstairs neighbors. The project lasted from June -it's very final details completing November ( the bulk of the project was completed in early September). There were a few design mistakes, in some instances felt like a lack of oversight and the normal delays in getting the materials delivered. In the middle of the kitchen project we decided to have them do an update on our bathroom - vanity, mirror, countertop. There were set backs, but these guys were honest about it along the entire process and fixed whatever mistakes ( that are inevitable in construction) when I brought it up to them. We are beyond happy with the outcome and would hire them again without hesitation.“
