First time getting a hair cut here and let me just say it’s the best one I’ve ever gotten before. I showed a video of the cut I wanted and it came out even better than what I showed. I’ve never had an experience like this at a salon before and I’m so happy I chose to come here. She was really listening to exactly what I wanted and understood some of the problems I’ve had with previous hair cuts. I’ve never been more in love and obsessed with a hair cut like this before. I highly recommend everyone to book an appointment ASAP, you won’t be disappointed.
I, like many young poc New Yorkers, used to only go to one old school hairdresser as a kid until young adulthood where I became a diy alt girlie, partially due to anxiety and partially because as lovely as the old school hairdresser was, she was less available and less likely to achieve the look I was going for. As a hijab it’s so hard to find a hair salon that provides privacy and quality so when I came across In The Cut I was so happy! Leanne did an amazing job working with my hair type and she always has awesome and professional suggestions for maintenance. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re part of the family. Definitely coming back here for my regular trims and other hair treatments 🫶🏼
