Wow, today was my first visit and they really impressed me. Dr. Deluty and all the other staff were especially attentive and kind. They took their time to address all my questions and make my very anxious dog as calm as possible. I will be making them by regular vet.

Handled my reactive Vallhund incredibly well. Dr. Deluty and Iliana is patient and clearly cares about their animals. Iliana especially immediately understood how to make my nervous dog comfortable and gave us time to ask questions.

Dr. McNulty is my catβs primary vet. He has such a great demeanor around anxious animals and owners. He was able to to run all the tests that the vet ER couldnβt and did a much more thorough job of problem solving what was wrong with our animal. Destiny was our vet tech and she was great with our 17 year old female cat. I appreciate that the office always tries their best to squeeze in last minute appointments and that itβs clean and the rooms are sound proofed with a lot of privacy. My cat was doing better very quickly and back to her normal self. Itβs expensive but worth it for the quality of care.

After a few regular visits at the Prospect Heights location for our senior dogβs declining health, we ultimately needed to put him down. Prospect Heights wasnβt open on the day we needed, but our experience at the Park Slope location was just as welcoming, empathetic, and expert in their care. They were the best possible environment for an otherwise terrible day, and we deeply appreciate their commitment to helping us through it. We will most definitely stay in their network when we find our next pet.

I've gone here for years, but stopped after they sold the practice to Marc Siebert who owns Heart of Chelsea. The level of care remained similar but the pricing structure immediately increased significantly, as expected when consolidation happens. Prices for medication in particular was unnecessarily high. I now go to a small family vet where the care and attention is wonderful but with prices in proportion to the market. It's not clear if Heart of Chelsea is connected to private equity, but since acquiring this office there is definitely a stronger profit motive felt.

I just have to say what a wonderful office this is. I brought my sweet girl for the first time a year ago, and they really helped me navigate her illnesses. They were always patient, kind, answered my questions in full, and really went above and beyond. And sadly when it was her time, they handled both her and me with such unbelievable care and kindness. I could not be more grateful for Dr. Hackney, and the entire staff at HOC Park Slope. I truly believe they gave me so much more time with her, and I will forever be grateful. I truly cannot recommend them enough.

Ever since this practice was bought by Heart of Chelsea, the prices became ridiculously high, way higher than other vets in the area. They will give your pet exceptional care, but this also means that they are excessive in ordering expensive tests that might not always be necessary. Although the vets are great, I feel that the policy of the practice is to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. I have switched to a different clinic for this reason.

Dr Pueblo is amazing! Sheβs such a caring person and was really invested in helping our cat. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains everything clearly.
Before coming to Heart of Chelsea, we spent YEARS trying to figure out what was wrong with our cat, but Dr. Pueblo was the first to really empathize with us and help us problem solve. You can tell she loves animals and wants to ensure that your pet is healthy and happy.
I recommend anyone looking for a vet to check out Heart of Chelsea! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. The office is always clean and they are quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

This place is like a used car dealership. You go in for something minor like a shot, then they tell you five other things your pet needs and you leave with a $700 bill. Iβve never left this place without feeling like I was upsold and essentially robbed. Never again βοΈ
